An appeals court has found two Huichol Indians responsible for the killing of San Antonio Express-News reporter Philip True and they are being sought by Mexican authorities, an attorney for True’s family said.
The Indians, Juan Chivarra and Miguel Hernandez, were convicted in the 1998 killing but were freed while they appealed. True was the Mexico City bureau chief for the newspaper when he disappeared during a 10-day mountain hike.
