Big grants announced

The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. announced during its installation luncheon Wednesday at the Beverly Hills Hotel that it would present a record $1 million this year in financial grants to film schools and non-profit organizations, including the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, the American Cinematheque, the Geffen Playhouse and the Hollywood Entertainment Museum.
