Police Recover Bodies of Four Men Buried Alive

Police alerted by an anonymous phone call found the bodies of four men who had been buried alive near a highway in southern Mexico.
The bodies, bound and gagged and showing signs of torture, were found about 15 miles west of Acapulco. Autopsies revealed that they had died of asphyxiation after being buried.
Police did not yet know of a motive for the killings, or the identities of the victims.
