UC Irvine Wins Easily

SAN JOSE — Ross Schraeder scored 26 points, including a career-high eight three-pointers, in helping UC Irvine gain a 76-55 victory over San Jose State on Friday night.
It was Irvine’s second straight road win. The Anteaters (4-2) had lost 11 straight away from home before beating Santa Clara on Tuesday. UC Irvine has won three straight overall.
Marquin Chandler scored 24 points for the Spartans (3-5), who lost their third straight. Matt Misko recorded the first double-double of his career with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
