Motorcyclist Killed After Being Thrown Off Bike

A man was killed Saturday when his motorcycle crashed on a freeway and he was struck by four vehicles, authorities said.
Andrew Woods, 53, of Pasadena was on the eastbound Ventura Freeway west of Figueroa Street about 12:30 a.m. when he was thrown from his motorcycle, said CHP Officer Brian Joy.
Oncoming traffic then ran over Woods, Joy said.
