County Pays $925,000 Over Retaliation Claim

The county is paying $925,000 to former personnel director Ann Goodrich, who said she was fired in August by County Administrator Michael Brown in retaliation for complaining about Brown’s derogatory remarks about women, minorities and Islam.
Goodrich and a county lawyer signed the agreement this week. The county admits no wrongdoing.
