Man Is Found Dead in Motel Spa

A 43-year-old man was found dead Tuesday in the spa of a Costa Mesa motel, police said.
The man, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, was found by a maintenance worker about 7:30 a.m. at the Vagabond Inn on Gisler Avenue near Harbor Boulevard, Costa Mesa Police Sgt. Gary McErlain said.
It was unknown if foul play was involved or whether the man drowned, he said.
Authorities said the man, wearing swim trunks with his motel key attached, was a guest from another motel.
