BOYS’ BASKETBALL
* Lorenzo Mata, South Gate: Had 24 points and 21 rebounds in a 62-46 Eastern League victory over L.A. Roosevelt. Jose Sanchez added 26 points for the host Rams.
* Jordan Farmar, Woodland Hills Taft: Had 30 points and five steals for the No. 11 Toreadors in an 84-63 West Valley League victory over visiting Lake Balboa Birmingham.
* Arron Afflalo, Compton Centennial: Scored 33 points and Chris Berry added 13 points and 14 rebounds for the No. 5 Apaches in a 72-42 Bay League victory over visiting Inglewood.
* Mike Danielian, Van Nuys Grant: Scored 42 points and tied the school’s single-game record with nine three-point baskets for the host Lancers in a 112-91 Sunset Six League victory over Hollywood.
* Josh Shipp, L.A. Fairfax: Scored 38 points and Jamaal Boykin added 24 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots for the No. 2 Lions in a 118-46 Western League victory against visiting L.A. University.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
* Sierra Moore, Long Beach Wilson: Scored 26 points for the No. 7 Bruins in a 59-51 Moore League victory at No. 18 Long Beach Millikan.
* Krystle Adams, L.A. Crenshaw: Had 21 points, nine assists and seven steals for the No. 24 Cougars in an 80-69 Coliseum League victory over visiting L.A. Fremont.
* Erika Arriaran, Norco: Had 27 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists for the No. 15 Cougars in a 66-45 Mountain View League victory over visiting Mira Loma Jurupa Valley.
* Lorie Rayford, Inglewood Morningside: Had 22 points and 15 rebounds for the No. 20 Monarchs in a 70-49 Bay League victory at North Torrance.
BOYS’ SOCCER
* Lorenzo Loson, Rancho Cucamonga: Scored both goals for the top-ranked Cougars in a 2-0 Baseline League victory over visiting Claremont.
