Don’t Risk Sea Life by Shipping Spent Reactor

Re “Argentina Limits Reactor Route,” Jan. 16:
Edison’s plan to send its spent San Onofre nuclear reactor on an 11,000-mile sea voyage, and through hazardous waters at that, poses unnecessary environmental risks and exposes the entire planet’s fisheries to possible radioactive contamination.
What sane and unbiased person would dare take such a risk with one of our important food sources?
For Pete’s sake, let it stay where it is!
