1 Boy Is Slain, Another Is Wounded in Shooting

A 15-year-old Santa Ana boy was found shot to death after a confrontation that left another youth wounded, police said Saturday.
Police found both boys about 2:15 a.m. lying in the frontyard of a home in the 3400 block of South Olive Street, said Police Lt. Baltazar De La Riva.
The wounded youth is expected to survive.
Police did not release the names of the victims.
The department’s gang detail is investigating, De La Riva said.
