Investigation Continues in Businessman’s Death

Authorities continued Monday to investigate the death of a prominent Vallejo businessman found shot in his bedroom a day earlier.
George Grant was found early Sunday by his wife, according to Solano County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Travers.
“Mr. Grant’s wife told us that she was downstairs when she heard a gunshot ring out,” he said. “She then hid but said she could hear the noise of several people running downstairs.”
Investigators have not ruled out the possibility the gunshot was self-inflicted, Travers said.
