The Boss backs Gore speech

Billboard magazine reports that Bruce Springsteen, an opponent of the war in Iraq and a well-known friend to labor and traditional Democratic concerns, has posted a recent Al Gore speech on his website, brucespringsteen.net.
Springsteen called Gore’s remarks, which were harshly critical of President Bush, “one of the most important speeches” he’d heard in a long time. “The issues it raises need to be considered by every American concerned with the direction our country is headed in,” Springsteen said.
