A 26-year-old Anaheim man was stabbed to death and four others were wounded in what appeared to be a gang-related melee, police said Sunday.
The name of the dead man was withheld pending notification of relatives.
The street fight occurred about 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Dwyer Place, said police spokeswoman Det. Karen Schroepfer. When officers arrived, they found five people suffering from stab wounds, including the man who was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
The others were transported to area hospitals, where they underwent surgery.
