Comedian Andy Dick entered a not-guilty plea Wednesday to a misdemeanor count of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Dick’s attorney entered the plea in Riverside County Superior Court.
Dick, who appeared in the NBC sitcom “NewsRadio,” the 1998 film “Bongwater” and is scheduled to star in an MTV reality show this summer, was arrested by Indio police May 2 after a security guard at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival reportedly saw him attempting to light a marijuana cigarette.
Dick’s next pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 29.
