Game 5 Rates Well for NBA

Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night got a 13.8 national rating with a 23 share, making it the second-highest rated Finals game since 1998. The only one to get a higher rating since was Game 6 in 2000 involving Indiana and the Lakers, with a 14.7.
The average rating for the five games was an 11.5; the average rating for last year’s six-game San Antonio-New Jersey Finals was 6.5.
Tuesday night’s game got a 29.9 rating and a 47 share in Los Angeles, down from a 30.5/50 for Game 4 Sunday night. Game 5 got a 41.3 rating in Detroit.
