Arizona’s prices lure O.C. couple

I remember Allison B. Cohen’s article regarding outrageous home prices and many Californians moving out of state, [“The Middle-Class Housing Squeeze,” March 7].
My husband and I have lived in Orange County our whole lives and are now raising a family. An income of $130,000 a year doesn’t cut it to buy a home, and we are tired of the stress of trying to make it here. Boy have we watched it change in the past 15 years. We are buying a home in Arizona. We are done with two-bedroom homes costing more than half a million dollars.
