Street Is Renamed to Honor Police Officer

Police Officer Tyler M. Pinchot, who died in the line of duty in 2003, was honored Thursday as city officials renamed a street in his memory.
Court Street, which serves the police station and the new city hall, was renamed Pinchot Court.
Pinchot, a 23-year veteran, died in September, 100 days after his motorcycle was struck from behind by a car. He never regained consciousness.
Pinchot was 45 years old and married. He had three stepchildren.
