Fullerton Theater Gets More Time

Preservationists have been given a reprieve by Fullerton officials to raise enough money to buy the historic Fox Theatre, foundation officials said.
The Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation is short $640,000 of its $1.85-million goal, the amount needed to close escrow and buy the old theater and adjacent retail properties.
The new deadline is Nov. 19.
