Roll cameras: Production on the film adaptation of “Aeon Flux,” shut down when Charlize Theron suffered an injury on the set Aug. 31, is due to resume in Berlin on Monday, Variety reports.

TV pickup: NBC said Thursday it has picked up “Joey,” its “Friends” spinoff starring Matt LeBlanc, for the full season, ordering at least nine more episodes.

Stage to film: Jack O’Brien, the Old Globe Theatre artistic director who staged “Hairspray” for Broadway, and the show’s choreographer, Jerry Mitchell, will jointly direct the New Line Cinema version of the Tony-winning musical, scheduled for a 2006 release, Variety reports. It will mark the feature film directing debut for both men.
