An attorney and former Superior Court judge has been charged with stealing $176,000 from clients he represented in probate, conservatorship and personal injury cases, Los Angeles County Deputy Dist. Atty. Ed Miller said Thursday.
Huey Percy Shepard, 68, charged with theft and perjury, could face a sentence of 10 years and four months in prison.
He allegedly embezzled the money from his victims, including an elderly woman on life support, from 1992 to 2002.
