Indonesian police identified the suspected suicide bomber who attacked the Australian Embassy on Sept. 9 as 30-year-old Heri Golun. They said DNA samples were used to make the identification.
National Police Chief Dai Bachtiar said Golun was driving the small truck that blew up outside the embassy, killing at least 10 people, including himself, and wounding more than 170. All the dead were Indonesians. The attack has been blamed on the militant group Jemaah Islamiah.
