Man Robs Irvine Bank

A man who said he had a gun robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in the 14400 block of Culver Drive about 5 p.m. Friday, police said.
The man, described as white, in his early 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches and 180 pounds, was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored baseball cap and a light blue shirt, police said.
Witnesses did not see any weapons, police said, and the man escaped on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call Irvine police at (949) 724-7000.
