Law of the Land

In his Sept. 28 response to a Times editorial, Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Fla.) makes an all-too-common omission when he states that the Constitution “was created to be the supreme law of the land.” Article VI, Section 2, states: “This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land.”
