From Times Staff and Wire Reports
The judge in Scott Peterson’s murder case delayed the trial for a week Tuesday and told jurors to expect to begin deliberations in early November.
Judge Alfred A. Delucchi told jurors closing arguments should be Nov. 1 and 2, and that deliberations should begin Nov. 3.
The delay came after defense lawyers gave prosecutors an updated list of witnesses and asked for time to prepare for the new witnesses, a source familiar with the in-chambers proceedings told Associated Press.
