Officials Cite Reports of Shakeup in Myanmar

Thai officials said today they had received reports of a leadership shakeup in Myanmar’s secretive military government.
Thai Gen. Lertart Rattanatavanich told reporters in Mai Sot, a town on the border with Myanmar, that Thai army reports indicated that Myanmar’s junta “is unhappy with [Prime Minister] Khin Nyunt, and they want to remove him from his position.”
