City Shortens Time for Graffiti Cleanup

Property owners are now required to erase graffiti within 10 days. After an outbreak of graffiti at a vacant restaurant and other commercial buildings, the City Council voted to shorten the cleanup period from 30 days to 10 after city notification. Property owners face a $100-a-day fine on the 11th day and $200 after that.
