Elections Worker Is Under Investigation

A Riverside County elections department employee was accused Tuesday of posting a message on the Internet that implied he was hoping for problems with the county’s electronic voting system in the November election.
A complaint about the message was made to the county Board of Supervisors by a resident who fears that the county’s electronic voting system is unreliable.
Registrar Barbara Dunmore said her office was investigating.
