Primaris Airlines to Buy 40 Boeing Planes

Boeing Co. said closely held Primaris Airlines planned to buy 20 737s and 20 7E7s worth $3.8 billion, making it the first U.S. airline to order Boeing’s newest model.
The start-up airline has options to purchase 15 more 7E7-8s and 20 more 737-800s, Boeing said in a statement. Boeing now has commitments for 86 7E7s, scheduled for first delivery in 2008.
