County Supervisor Mike Antonovich has proposed that the board hold one meeting each month outside of downtown to better acquaint supervisors with regional concerns.
Antonovich’s motion, which will be considered Tuesday, would take the board members to the five supervisorial districts in the 4,081-square-mile county, which is larger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined.
“There are some supervisors that are really unaware of the issues facing constituents in other districts,” said Tony Bell, Antonovich’s spokesman.
