Children of Polygamous Family in State Custody

A juvenile court judge in Salt Lake City ordered eight children of a polygamous family into foster care.
The children were taken from John Daniel Kingston and Heidi Mattingly after state child welfare officials alleged abuse, neglect and efforts by the couple to block access to the children by state case workers.
