Infantile behavior crowds the lineup

“Bounced” [Oct. 19] illuminates everything wrong with the surf media. It gives tacit endorsement to lawless violence. That this [story] is presented to new surfers is bound to cause more copycat localism.
It would be good to point out to the enforcers of the surf world that any combination of lawyers, guns and money can and will effectively curtail your self-imposed status. Grow up.
