Update -- The Sparks have a chance to end Seattle’s hopes for the Western Conference regular-season title and, in all probability, home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. The Sparks lead the Storm by 2 1/2 games. It will be a game-time decision whether Mwadi Mabika, who injured her left knee against San Antonio, will play. The Storm will be without star center Lauren Jackson, who is in Australia to be with her ailing maternal grandmother. Jackson also was put on the injured list because of a foot injury aggravated in the Olympics. She will miss a minimum of three games and is not expected to rejoin the team until it plays Detroit at home next week.
