Anaheim Girl, 10, Killed and 4 Hurt in Collision

A 10-year-old Anaheim girl died Monday in a collision that left four people seriously injured. Police released no names, pending notification of relatives.
The accident occurred about 2:45 p.m. at Brookhurst Street and Heil Avenue in Fountain Valley when a motorist in a Nissan going north on Brookhurst collided with a Ford Mustang turning left and carrying the girl and three other people.
The Mustang’s occupants -- including the girl, who was dead at the scene -- were freed with the “jaws of life.” The accident is under investigation, police said.
