Re “Rekindling the Dream Can Cure King/Drew,” Voices, Feb. 12: The failure at King/Drew Medical Center is an example of what can happen when competence and excellence are not the primary considerations in personnel and management decisions.
When people’s lives are at stake, there should be no other consideration.
