Moore Helps Davis Rebound, Win

Ryan Moore rebounded his missed jump shot and made a layup as time expired to lift UC Davis to a 66-65 comeback victory over host UC Riverside Monday.
The winning shot came after Larry Cunningham blocked Rommel Marentez’s shot with five seconds left. Moore had 25 points for the Aggies.
Davis (6-8) trailed by as many as 15 points in the second half, but a 14-5 run cut the lead to 60-59 with 2:50 left. Klaus Schille made one of two free throws to give Riverside a 65-64 lead with 29 seconds left.
Forward Vili Morton, who had 25 points for the Highlanders (4-8), fell while chasing an offensive rebound with 55 seconds left. He was taken off the floor on a stretcher.
