Election Loser’s Appeal Could Be Days Away

Representatives of losing Ukrainian presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovich said it might be days before they file a new appeal of the election results showing that reformer Viktor Yushchenko won.
Yushchenko was declared winner of the Dec. 26 vote but cannot be inaugurated without Supreme Court approval of the results. Yanukovich has alleged that the vote was marred. His campaign manager said his side had until Tuesday to appeal.
