No. 2 Baylor Falls in Three Overtimes

Jelena Spiric made all eight of her free throws in the third overtime and Kiera Hardy scored a career-high 37 points to lead Nebraska to a 103-99 victory over No. 2 Baylor on Wednesday night at Lincoln, Neb.
Nebraska, which improved to 14-4 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12 Conference, won its fifth in a row and defeated an opponent ranked in the top five for the first time in team history. Baylor (12-2, 2-1) had its 12-game win streak stopped.
The Cornhuskers made 25 of 30 free throws in the overtimes and made a school-record 46 of 54 for the game.

No. 16 Connecticut (9-4, 3-0) held No. 7 Notre Dame (13-3, 2-2) to 29% shooting in the second half at South Bend, Ind., to defeat the Fighting Irish, 67-50, in a Big East game.... Alesha Robertson scored 22 of her game-high 26 points in the second half at Lubbock, Texas, and No. 13 Texas Tech (12-2, 3-0) rolled to a 79-62 Big 12 victory over No. 12 Texas (8-5, 1-2).... No. 14 Boston College (12-1, 3-0) got a career-high 28 points from Kathrin Ress and cruised to a 77-63 Big East victory over Villanova (9-5, 2-1) at Boston.... Anne O’Neal scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead No. 24 Iowa State (13-1, 3-0) to a 70-37 victory over Kansas (7-7, 0-3) in a Big 12 game at Lawrence, Kan.
