Corgan rocks

Thank God I bought the new Billy Corgan and listened to it before reading Richard Cromelin’s review (“Corgan Rides a Sonic Tide,” June 19). Any cut on this CD is better than the collective work of almost anyone on the airwaves.
Most times, I don’t read reviews at all, but for performers that I like, I will save the review and read it only after I have enjoyed the recording.
I’ve purchased three disappointing CDs by the White Stripes, each one lauded by The Times; yet Cromelin opens his review with a hugely critical slam of Billy Corgan’s work. Cromelin should be ashamed of himself.
