Angeles Crest Highway Portion Remains Closed

A 10-mile portion of Angeles Crest Highway is still covered with snow and mudslide debris from winter storms, and will remain closed for most of the summer, Caltrans said Thursday.
Officials said cleanup and repairs on the closed stretch south of Wrightwood would take at least two months and cost $4 million -- and so far no funding has been found. The state is seeking federal money.
