U.S. Subpoenas DaVita Records

DaVita Inc., the fourth-largest kidney dialysis provider, said Sunday that it had received a subpoena from the U.S. attorney’s office for the Eastern District of Missouri in connection with a civil and criminal probe.
The El Segundo-based company said it was asked for documents on operations dating back to Dec. 1, 1996, and related to, among other things, pharmaceutical and other services provided to patients, relationships with pharmaceutical companies, financial relationships with physicians and joint ventures.
