Mystic is magical, and so is the coast

REGARDING “A Touch of the Mystic” [Sept. 18], Mystic, Conn., is about halfway between New York City and Boston and also a stop on Amtrak’s Northeast corridor train service.
Trains run both ways almost every hour, and although not all stop at Mystic, most stop at New London, Conn., which is nine miles away.
The train route follows the coastline of Connecticut, so visitors not only will enjoy Mystic but also get to see almost all of the Connecticut coastline on the way.
