Disgust and laughter over Maher’s views

Re “Why don’t we all have a recall,” Opinion, Sept. 9
The Times stooping so low as to allow space for Bill Maher to continue his sordid left-wing agenda so close to the anniversary of 9/11 is disheartening and frankly disgusting. This is the same Maher who stated on his TV show just a short six days after 9/11: “We have been the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That’s cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it’s not cowardly.”
Is this your tribute to the memory of 9/11 and those innocent people who lost their lives that awful day, i.e., allowing space for someone who uttered such hateful words? Shame on you.

Bill, you said it all! I needed a good laugh, you provided it. Then I cried because it was so true.
