Garden Grove Man Dies After Motorcycle Is Hit

A Garden Grove man who died after his motorcycle was rear-ended by a car has been identified, Orange County coroner’s officials said Tuesday.
Basil Haliburda, 59, was struck about 6:50 a.m. Monday as he stopped at a light meter on the Brookhurst Street onramp to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway.
Haliburda died Monday morning at UCI Medical Center in Orange, authorities said.
