Re “Disabled Airliner Creates a 3-Hour Drama in Skies,” Sept. 22
Congratulations to the pilot and copilot of the JetBlue plane that had front landing gear problems on their three-point emergency landing at LAX. I will fly with that crew any time, any day, in any weather.

The next time the management of an airline asks for more financial concessions from its pilots, the passengers should have a voice in that decision. Maybe the concessions should come from the executives who award themselves pay increases, bonuses and stock options (while running the company into the ground) and not the pilots, who -- judging by the incredible display of courage and skill Wednesday afternoon -- are well worth the money they earn.
