Regarding “Strike Is About More Than Pay and Benefits,” Sept. 18:
The jobs at Boeing are not “fleeing” from our country; rather, they are consciously being assigned to other countries.
When we reach the irreducible minimums in wages, benefits and pensions, then Americans can work serving hot dogs to our foreign visitors, as they arrive in the U.S. to spend their vacations after flying in on one of the airliners produced in their home countries -- courtesy of Boeing.
