South Korean Antitrust Regulator Eyes 4 Firms

South Korean Fair Trade Commission investigators visited the offices of Qualcomm Inc., Samsung Electronics Co., LG Electronics Inc. and Pantech & Curitel, seeking information about deals among the companies, Qualcomm said.

The inquiry may be related to San Diego-based Qualcomm’s distribution of mobile video software to work with its cellphone chips, the company said.
