Give children their own section

REGARDING Mary McNamara’s “Before Mom, Pop and Tots Wear Out Their Welcome” [Kids on Board, April 2]: I wish everyone was as nice as McNamara when it comes to their kids. But when people go to a restaurant, no matter how upscale, most don’t think twice about bringing their little darlings for everyone to “enjoy.” Other diners have no choice but to have their nice evening ruined by undisciplined children.
They used to have smoking or nonsmoking sections in restaurants. Why not have “child” or “quiet” sections?
