From Times Staff and Wire Reports
The Board of Supervisors set aside nearly $2.4 million Tuesday for landscaping, roofing and other renovations at Glen Helen Regional Park and Hyundai Pavilion in Devore.
The 1,340-acre park is the former home of the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, which ended its lease early last year because it could not meet a requirement to make improvements to the park.
Parks staff is expected to ask for an additional $4.2 million for improvements to the county’s second-largest park during the summer budget process.
