Adam Morrison scored 30 points and No. 6 Gonzaga beat Loyola Marymount, 92-80, on Monday night in a matchup of the only teams with unbeaten records in the West Coast Conference.
Gonzaga, which improved to 14-3 overall and 4-0 in the conference, has won 32 straight home games, the longest streak in the nation and one more than Illinois and Southern Illinois. Derek Raivio had 24 points as the Bulldogs won their fifth straight.
Morrison, who leads the nation in scoring at 28 points a game, topped 30 points for the seventh time this season and for the third consecutive game.
Wes Wardrop led Loyola Marymount (6-12, 3-1) with a career-high 31 points. The Lions played a spirited game, but could not overcome 44% shooting and 19 turnovers that led to a couple of decisive Gonzaga runs.
J.P. Batista had 25 points and 13 rebounds for Gonzaga, which has never lost in the 2-year-old McCarthey Athletic Center. Matt Knight had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Loyola Marymount.
Portland 84, Pepperdine 82 -- Darren Cooper and Ben Sullivan combined for five free throws in the last 19 seconds of overtime to lift the Pilots (8-10, 2-2) over the Waves (5-11, 1-3) in overtime in a West Coast Conference game at Portland, Ore.
Pooh Jeter led Portland with 25 points and Cooper had 23.
Michael Gerrity, who led Pepperdine with 21 points, made a pair of free throws to give the Waves a 72-69 lead with 21 seconds left in regulation. But Jeter made a three-point basket to send the game to overtime.
