Iowa Stops No. 13 Indiana, 73-60

Adam Haluska scored 20 points, and Iowa opened the second half with a 14-0 run in a 73-60 victory over No. 13 Indiana on Tuesday night at Iowa City. The Hawkeyes, 15-5 overall and 4-2 in the Big Ten Conference, held the Hoosiers (12-4, 4-2) to their lowest point total this season.
No. 6 Villanova 49, South Florida 46 -- Randy Foye scored 19 of his 24 points in the second half, and the Wildcats (14-2, 5-1 Big East) held off the Bulls (6-13, 0-6) at Tampa, Fla.
No. 21 Georgetown 85, Notre Dame 82 -- Darrel Owens and Roy Hibbert each scored 18 points, and the Hoyas (13-4, 4-2 Big East) followed their upset of top-ranked Duke with a double-overtime victory over the Fighting Irish (10-7, 1-5) at South Bend, Ind.
WOMEN
No. 5 Connecticut 77, South Florida 47 -- Barbara Turner had 16 points to lead the Huskies (18-2, 7-0 Big East) past the Bulls (13-7, 3-4) at Hartford, Conn.
No. 10 Rutgers 69, No. 21 Notre Dame 43 -- Matee Ajavon scored a season-high 28 points, and the Scarlet Knights (14-3, 6-0 Big East) held the Fighting Irish (12-6, 3-4) to one point over the first 11 minutes at Piscataway, N.J.
